DP didn't make a move at deadline because he was counting on Vesey. We lost 2 forwards in the playoffs and didn't have the offensive depth in the finals. Obviously, Tolvanen and Vesey are different situations, but Tolvanen isn't a 100% this year.

Hmm not sure about that, I read elsewhere that the Preds have "chatted" with Ottawa for Karlsson. It would only cost us Tolvanen, Ellis and two draft picks. I mean come on we need more defense!!
